Spent the weekend at Blegny for the 27th Maasmarathon in Visé. Took the opportunity to walk over the recently opened passerelle de Caster near Kanne, a suspension bridge at 55 metres height over the Albert Canal.
Took the 15-minute trip from Visé to Maastricht in the Netherlands with the Drielandentrein. Visited a bookshop in a church, went to the “Porous Grounds, Sacred Codes” exhibition at Marres, House for Contemporary Culture, and stood at the Drielandenpunt in Vaals where the borders of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany intersect.
For the marathon itself, I finally managed to run one under four hours. Couldn’t have done it without the pacer! My previous chip times were:

I’ll limit myself to one marathon per year. My next marathon would be the European Running Championships 2027 in Belgrade.
